We offer two levels of servicing at JMG, the standard Porsche factory service schedule, to which we are happy to follow exactly to the letter. As such we provide on this page a price list for these services.

However as time moves on, we benefit from experience of how the car ages, what components are likely to fail at what mileages, or ages, which of course would have been impossible for the Porsche factory to ever forecast at the time your service book and schedule was written.

With this in mind, JMG have developed the updated JMG Signature Service Pricing schedule including the JMG-XL service procedure including a multitude of additional checks and adjustments over and above the factory schedule.

In some cases these additional checks, adjustments or alterations to the Porsche schedule may increase the cost of a JMG Signature service over the cost of the standard Porsche factory schedule, partly due to an increase in the amount of operations performed such as bringing forward certain service items where it is found to benefit the car to do so.

However in other cases it can actually reduce the price as certain service items are found to not require as frequent attention (A good example of this would be the overly frequent valve adjustment specified by Porsche for the earlier air cooled 911 models which is a labour intensive and expensive process.) which are then dropped from the JMG-Signature service although the additional operation is still available via a add-ons table further down the page.

Note: The factory service for the 964 specifies the replacement of spark plugs which requires remal of the exhaust. If your spark plugs have not been replaced on an annual basis and new fasteners used, it will not be possible for the spark plugs to be changed and extra charges may apply. for a 12k service without plugs, please see the JMG 12k service bellow with reduced price!

The following table includes the prices for the JMG Signature service schedule which goes far beyond the factory schedule to provide you with even higher value for money and trouble free motoring than the Strict Porsche factory schedule above.

All JMG-Signature services also include a complimentary 1 Litre Mobil top up worth £9.99 for you take away for your convenience should your car require the oil level topping up before the next service.

Both schemes include all the items that the Porsche factory include in the official schedule, except the JMG-XL inspection includes many additional checks and procedures and in some cases the JMG Signature service also includes additional items not included until much later in the factory schedule. These items have been added following years of experience of failures of components which may have been avoided if only the item had required attention in the form of a service much earlier.

ALL ITEMS ARE INCLUSIVE OF PARTS AND LABOUR, NO HIDDEN EXTRAS!

One item which is not included in any of the above prices is the flush and replacement of brake fluid, this is because its schedule dictates that it is replaced without any basis of distance traveled, but based on the time it has been in the system, with 2 years as the absolute maximum. After this period the brake fluid can begin to damage the components and seals in the brake circuit which can be costly to repair.

So you can customise your servicing to your driving profile such as low or high annual mileage, track day usage and the many other variables which can effect your servicing requirements, we also provide the following serving add-ons at an adjusted rate during any of the above services.

At JMG we also believe in being 100% transparent in our pricing. This means that we are happy to provide the bellow comparison table to show exactly what items are included in our servicing prices, both with the factory schedule and our JMG schedule.

BRAKE FLUID FLUSH AND REPLACEMENT CLASSED AS AN ADDITIONAL EXTRA ITEM EVERY 2 YEARS

Before you take your car to another specialist or even your local main dealer, make sure you make sure everything listed above is included in the price they quote you. If you do receive a cheaper estimate or quote from another recognised Porsche specialist or Porsche main dealer, please let us know so we can do our best to match or beat the price.

The only time the price may increase would be in the event that we encounter a unusual problem which makes it impossible for us to proceed with the service. Such items may include seized or otherwise damaged components. In such events JMG will within reason endeavour to contact you with options and costs before proceeding. Please ensure you are available by telephone while your car is in our care to avoid any unexpected costs.

4 Wheel Geometry includes adjustments, on the basis that none of the adjusters are seized, damaged or require no additional attention. Kinematic Toe, corner weighting, track geometry consultancy and more available at additional cost.

As members of the Good Garage Scheme and the Industry Codes of Practice, we will retain all parts removed from your car until after you have collected your car from us and will not be offended if you ask to view the parts removed. In addition we will always try to contact you before proceeding with any repairs which are not part of your original expectations.
