JMG Porsche are especially well known for performing miracles on the 944, especially the 944 Turbo (AKA 951) where increasing the power from 220-250 BHP up to 420 BHP on a standard 2.5L engine with average miles is not unusual.
JMG also have the claim to fame of being the first to adapt Forumula-1 technology to produce a 944 Turbo engine with a displacement of 3.2L and then go on to tune it to develop over 500 lbs of torque at a moderate boost level! As well as the 3.2 Engines, JMG also convert 944 turbo's to 2.8 and 3.0 litre capacity.
Cars tuned by JMG have the accolade of holding most of the top ten positions on the 944 Turbo BHP league. In fact, there are probably very few cars in the top 20 which do not feature JMG parts or involvement.
