Following months of hard work at JMG we are now able to announce the new JMG pricing structure for fixed price menu servicing and repair items.
For the last few months JMG have been analysing what our competitors have been charging for a wide variaty of servicing and repair operations. From this study of our competitors we were able to see that for you the customer there is a lot of confusion regarding what actually is performed during each service. Even many of the specialists do not seem to know what should be performed at each interval. Jon has always been committed to providing good value for money, so he decided start with a blank price list and start again, committed to offer greater value for money than any other specialist within a 50 mile radius of Bournemouth, while still performing at very least every item specified by the Porsche factory. While Jon was progressing with this process, he also decided to create the ultimate service schedule (now named the JMG-Signature-Service), with a new service inspection process (Called the JMG-XL Inspection) and a great value for money price list for this service schedule. The JMG-Signature-Service is a combination of every item included in the Porsche factory specified schedule, plus all the items in the Industry Standard Service specified by the Good Garage Scheme and plus all the items he felt were missing from both services! If this wasnt enough, Jon was also able to draw on the experience of his 22 years as a Porsche specialist, along with the numerous years experience of his staff, to tweak the service intervals to help the customer avoid expensive failures. A good example of this would be the 996 tiptronic transmissions. JMG have witnessed numerous tiptronic transmission failures. In many cases the transmission fluid was in a very poor condition and the transmission filter was clogged, which is probably the cause of the transmission failures, which may not have occured if the transmission was serviced earlier! So with the JMG Signature Service, Jon specified that the 996 and Boxster models recieve a transmission service earlier than most 996 and Boxster models ever had specified. This is just one example. Among all this work, JMG have also renegotiated their servicing parts prices from the factory and a great deal with the Mobil Oil Group. The result of all this hard work is that some prices at JMG have now dropped by up to 50%!!! and even the JMG Signature Service is now priced at a lower price than our original prices where we followed just the Porsche schedule. As a JMG customer, you now have choice at JMG. You can choose between the "Strict Porsche Service Schedule" or you can opt for the "JMG Signature Service" at only a little more cost.
