The Porsche 968, released in 1993 and only produced for a couple of years represents a rare classic Porsche sports car of a very limited production run.
During this low volume production run of 968's Porsche also made a very limited number of special hand built light weight versions for those wanting the the very best in driving experience for the road or track. This production run was limited to only around 150 examples over the entire production run of the 968.
Its not known how many 968 Club Sports still exist in original condition, but it is known that a number of them were raced and of course some have suffered unfortnuate ends on the road and track as with any car. So its expected that very few original genuine right hand drive 968 ClubSports still exist today.
A little like the RS Porsche models, this car represents a good investment for the future. Although its impossible to predict the future value of such cars, but the 968 ClubSports have remained depreciation proof for the last 8 years and its expected that they will continue to enjoy zero depreciation and begin to appreciate in value over the next 2 to 5 years.

Jon initially intended on keeping this car in his personal collection as an excellent example of the very rare 968 ClubSport and there is a possibility it may remain in the collection in the unlikely event of it not being sold. Due to this the workshop performed many hours of work perfecting every aspect of this car to future proof it against future problems.
Tasks performed included replacement of the brakes, belts, waterpump, front engine oil seals, cam synchro chain and variocam unit, suspension components (with koni/Porsche sport items) and much more.
However due to the sheer size of Jon's Porsche collection, the sad decision was made to let this and a few other outstanding cars in the collection go, but only at the right price to reflect its rare status and condition.
During its time in the JMG collection this car also benefitted from being used as on of Jon's personal cars and covered over 1000 miles. During this extended road test, Jon rectified any last remaining minor niggles to the point that we are confident that this car will pass any inspection with flying colours.
This car has been thoughourly inspected by JMG and we are certain that it has not ever been raced or suffered any structual damage and can find no evidence of body repairs on the car. Although we do know that there is a record of body repairs being performed with the replacement and repainting of the front and rear bumpers within the history of the car.
The only modification we know of to this car is the installation of clear front indicators and side repeaters. Although should any potential buyer desire the original items fitting, that will not be a problem and can be returned to original condition at no extra cost. |
The pictures above of this car may well not do it full justice as we are in the process of a complete detail and prep of the car ready for its sale.
Just like all JMG sales cars, this Porsche is provided with a no quibble warranty with no exclusions included in the price. (terms and conditions available on request) Not only this.. As with all JMG cars they are offered with custom options at additional price. You want a performance chip or exhaust? Speedline split rim alloys? or indeed any of the optional modifications from our "modification" pages...No problem!
