After many years of ownership, I have been offered a once in a lifetime post in the USA. As a result, I have had to make the unfortunate decision that my beloved 944 Turbo has to go to a new good home where someone else can enjoy her as I have over the last few years of ownership.

Due to the purchase of a 993 GT2, my genuine 993 RS is now for sale.

My road and trackday companion of many years of pleasure was originally owned by a middle eastern royal family until 1998. It was then owned by Jon Mitchell who sold it to me in 2001 when it was transported back to the UK and I was lucky enough for Jon to agree to sell it to me (which did some doing and Jon even still uses images of this 993 RS on his website home page!)

As you can imagine with its previous owners, this car spent most of its life in very dry conditions and being maintainted to the highest levels with cost as no object, which how it has been maintained during my ownership.

Features include - Paintwork in original speed yellow, racing black interior race seats, harnesses, original kill switches and Matters roll cage with original speedline wheels.

This car is 100% road legal, has never been raced and only enjoyed on roads and two amazing track days.

The current mileage is 22,500 miles, and as such it has always been maintained on a basis of time rather than miles, so for example it was serviced every year (12k annual servicing every year at least, 24k servicing every second year, and 48k serviced every 4th year.)

In 2005 I took the precaution of having JMG replace every rubber component on the car as I was worried about these parts degrading. These components included every suspension bush, every driveshaft boot, both steering rack gaitors, window rubbers, door seals ,engine hoses and belts.

The car can be viewed at my home in hampshire by appointment, any inspection welcome, for a test drive you will have to negotiate a buying price and leave it as a full deposit with insurance at your own liability.

A new business venture forces me to sell this wonderful car to release much needed funds. , I will not accept any offers bellow £37.000.

From 2003 until 2005 the car was exclusively maintained by Porsche Centre Bournemouth, after which I took the opportunity to switch its servicing and repairs to JMG on the recommendation of many members of Porsche forums on the internet, where it seems that JMG service stamps in the service history are held with a higher regard than the main dealers. I would recommend that future owners of this car continue servicing in the same way.

During ownership, I have always had every advisory on every service rectified and not had any serious problems.

Any inspection welcome, and I will allow any specialist or main dealer to test drive the car on their insurance. However I would be reluctant to allow any potential buyer to test drive the car, unless it was as the last stage on completing the purchase, as this kind of car attracts window shoppers. (I am sure you understand)

This car has never been used on a track, and has always been driven with care. (I have a clean licence to prove it) there are no detractors with this Porsche, it has not so much as a chip or scratch on the paintwork or wheels, the tyres are new and the last service was a 48,000 mile service 2 months ago.

It currently has 46,000 miles, 12 months MOT and 12 months TAX.
